Dates & Age
Each course runs for 14 days, 13 nights
The football camp is open to students of all abilities aged 10-17.
The male boarding rooms are situated over several floors of the impressive Main Hall and look out over the beautiful open fields and parkland which surround the building.
The largest dormitories house up to 5 junior boys, with the senior boys in single or twin rooms with either an en suite or dedicated bathroom facility. All areas of our male boarding accomodation have undergone recent refurbishment and we are constantly reviewing and improving them to keep them at a high and modernised standard.
Year groups have been allocated areas for socialising and relaxing in the evenings which means that bedtimes can be orderly; with Matrons and resident staff encouraging good habits. Many boarders act in a supporting role to younger boarders and all ages are able to enjoy boarding activities and events which really bring the community together.
A large portion of the resident staff are located in the Main Hall and their presence acts as a reassurance to students, knowing that the experience of living on site is shared with a community of staff who are there to join in the fun as well as to be there whenever they need help or advice.
The girls’ boarding rooms are situated in a House, which is located at the opposite end of the campus to the boys Hall. The House has a very friendly, caring atmosphere; having recently been refurbished it offers the girls an attractive, homely environment to live in.
The lounge and kitchen offer focal points for boarders to gather in the evenings and weekends, with a real sense of family spirit present at all times. With a 32″ flat screen TV and Wii games console the girls have their creature comforts that make it feel a home from home.
Resident staff live in the girls boarding house and are always involved, along with Matrons, in ensuring everyone is up and ready in the mornings, smartly dressed and ready to start the school day.
At the end of each school day a member of the girls’ resident staff welcomes the girls back from their school day and listens to what they have been up to during lessons, helping to solve any problems and being a constant friendly face.
A close link is maintained between home and boarding and we believe that a high level of care is of paramount importance.
