Surfing in New York

When you think about New York surfing is definitely not on the top of your mind. But the city that never sleeps has some good waves to be surfed within a short distance from Manhattan. It’s true that the most consistent time of the year to surf is during the winter when the water temperature can be extremely cold but if you are lucky you can score epic waves during the unpredictable hurricane season. The truth is that it is hard to be a New York surfer but if you are patient and determined you can still surf in the Big Apple.
