Surfing in Hawke’s Bay

Hawke’s Bay is located on the east coast of New Zealand northern island and it’s known for having beautiful scenery, renowned wineries and interesting Art Deco architecture. The area has a good swell window attracting different directions of swells from the Pacific Ocean. The elite pro surfer Ricardo Christie comes from the Mahia Peninsula located on the north part of Hawke’s Bay proving that the area has lots of amazing surf spots to be explored.
