Surfing in Florida

Florida is the southernmost state of the east coast of the USA. This is where the 11x world champion Kelly Slater grew up and learned how to surf, so we should assume that the waves are incredibly good. The reality is that Florida produces incredible surfers and the waves can be epic but most of the time the surf conditions are pretty average. Most of the surf spots are fun beach breaks ideal for beginners. The best time to surf in Florida is during autumn when the hurricane season happens and epic waves can be surfed.

Best surf spots in Florida
