Surfing in Northeast Coast England

The North East Coast of England has a wide range of waves that are lit up by arctic north swells that can reach this part of the coast at any time of the year. There are also rare SE swells generated by low pressure systems on the North Sea that can produce some quality waves. The best time of the year to surf in this area is during autumn or winter when the waves are bigger and more consistent making the reefs, points and beach breaks to work with proper conditions compared to the muchy summer waves that are ideal for beginners.
