Praia do Forte

Praia do Forte is located near Salvador, the capital of Bahia, you will find this amazing tropical beach. This place is very famous for the amazing waves and because it hosts a very important and famous environmental project called Projeto Tamar. The project was created in the 80s to protect the sea turtles and preserve their environment by creating awareness about these amazing animals. The project is very successful and now you can see the turtles everywhere in the ocean and it’s common to see them while surfing. The project is open for the public that can and learn about the life of the turtles and learn how to preserve their environment.
