El Buey

El Buey is a slightly consistent big wave venue located 700 m offshore from Playa El Laucho. The break has waves breaking for both sides but the left tends to be the best option. The left needs S-SSW swells in order to create massive barrels and the right works better with W swells. El Buey can hold waves up to 20ft (6m), but is very exposed to the wind so easterly offshore wind is the go here.
