Cogumelo (Alentejo)

Cogumelo is a reef break located at Vila Nova de Milfontes in the Alentejo region. This picturesque seaside town has many breaks but Cogumelo stands out as the best one. The wave is a hollow left hander that requires some swell in order to break properly. There is also a fickle left hand slab reef where hollow and powerful waves break on shallow waters.
