INTRODUCTION
Batu Bolong Surf Camp is located in the heart of the vibrant Canggu, on the main road called Batu Bolong. The place has a cool vibe with private rooms and also a few shared ones. It’s suitable for backpackers and travellers that are looking for a place to meet new people, improve their surf skills, party and at the same time be close to all the bars and restaurants of Canggu. The Camp offers surf lessons with transportation to suitable beaches in Bali, so you will explore new places while you learn how to surf, the perfect combination!
The comfortable accommodation has shared dorm rooms for 4 – 8 people. There are also private room upgrades available upon request at time of booking for the ones seeking more privacy. At the premises there is an awesome surf/sports bar and a nice big pool for the guests to enjo, and also free wifi available. It’s 11 km from Seminyak’s shops and restaurants, and 18 km from Waterbom Bali Water Park.
The staff is young, fun and full of surfing knowledge that they are ready to pass onto you. There’s a selection of waves from nice easy rollers for the beginners, to some punchy close-to-shore peaks for the more intermediate and advanced surfer. You’ll immerse yourself into the surf culture, surfing all day long, eating amazing food and spending the nights socializing at many of the funky night surf venues of Canggu. The target market for the Surf Camp is 18 to 55.
You can start on any day and can be used as a base prior to or after doing the Surf Adventures and is open all year round. We welcome everyone from beginners to advanced surfers and even those who just like to relax. Massages are available onsite.

Surfing
Echo Beach where there’s a selection of waves from nice easy rollers for the beginners to some punchy close-to-shore peaks for the more intermediate or advanced surfer. Our surf school is mobile so we have the opportunity to pick the best surf spot for learning on the day depending on conditions.
All wetsuits and equipment are provided along with professional coaches. You also have the opportunity to purchase photos during the lesson.

There is something for everybody on this trip, from the person who has never surfed and wants to embrace surfing to the intermediate or advanced seeking fun, uncrowded waves.
We will stay at a camp in Red Island, located off in off-the-beaten-track Java.
We spend our final night in style at our surf camp in Bali.

LOCATION & GETTING HERE
Location
The Surf Camp is located in Canggu on the main street called Batu Bolong. The Camp is home to a new ambient surf vibe set amongst the rice paddies and temples. The water temperature remains constant all year round at 25 degrees. The climate also remains warm, however Jan and Feb are the traditionally wet season where there is rain in the afternoons. Surf is found all year round.
Getting Here
Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS), also referred to Denpasar International Airport, is the main (and only) airport of the Island. Transfers to the Camp from the Kuta/Legian/Seminyak area are available. Prices vary depending on where you are coming from.

Good to Know before you go
Surfboard and equipment
Tourists are permitted to bring 3 surfboards into Bali for personal use. Any boards beyond the allotted three will be counted as imports by the Indonesian government and subject to a customs duty of around $100 US dollars per board, though this fee is often negotiable.
Money
The currency of Bali and Indonesia is the Rupiah. It is best to arrive in Bali with a valid international debit card such as a Maestro (EC) or a widely accepted credit card.
Visa
Depending on your passport there are three options to enter Indonesia that apply to most travelers that come for tourist or social purpose only:
