Thurso East

Thursday is one of the finest waves in Scotland and also considered to be the best right hand reef break in Europe. Works well at mid tide, SW winds and NW swells. The take off can be quite easy but what comes after is what makes this wave so famous, an epic and long barrel section. The more the swell comes from west the heavier the waves are. This surf spot is getting more famous and a crowd is starting to be formed. Respect the locals and wait for your turn in order to avoid trouble.
