Surfing in Goa

Goa is located on the West coast of India and has lots of surf schools and perfect waves for beginners surfers. On the far north part of the coast you will find perfect a-frames breaking 2-3 foot  glassy waves. The main surfing season is from October to April since the rest of the year most of the business and accommodations in the area close their doors. Goa is also famous for the exciting party scene which combines perfectly with the flat spells that occasionally happen.

The best surf spots are Agonda Beach, Arambol Beach, Arossim Beach, Baja and Calungute, Baja Beach, Betalbatim Beach, Bhatkal, Gokarna, Kapu Beach Lighthouse, Kumta, Mahé, Mangalore Port, Maravanthe, Malik, Murudeshwara, Payyambalam, Vaayu Beach and Varca Beach.
