Surfing in Asturias

Asturias is located on the middle of the Atlantic coast of Spain and has some good quality surf spots. The beautiful mountains that form the Picos de Europa run close to the coast of Asturias creating stunning landscapes and beautiful views around this area. Most of the surf spots in Asturias are consistent and good quality beach breaks that can work at any time of the year. Some beaches are wide open and can capture any hint of swell while other bays and coves can offer good shelter for the winter swells.
