Sagres

Sagres is a city located on the extreme southwest of Portugal. Although this part of the coast is very exposed to the Atlantic Ocean the most consistent break in the area is pretty average. but is a good option for beginners and intermediates. There is a excelent but fickle surf spot located on the south side of the coast that only works with huge W-NW swells or a solid S. When the waves are pumping expect some great barrels but also some crowd.
