Punta de Lobos

Punta de Lobos is a famous big wave venue and was considered the best left hand point break in the country by the local legend Ramon Navarro. On large SW swells huge waves break on the outside of the classic rock that seems to be the guardian of the bay. This surf spot also works with mid size swells when fun and ripable waves are produced on the inside section known as Diamanté. Works better with lower tides and S to W swells and E winds. Punta de Lobos is a super consistent wave and you will find a surf shop and a skate ramp at the beach that always attract surfers and enthusiasts. Be careful with the paddle out from the rocks and when it’s big it is recommended for experts only.
