Praia do Norte (Nazaré)

Praia do Norte is a beach just up north of the cliff where the famous big wave venue of Nazaré is located. This surf spot is very similar to La Nord in Hossegor due to the deep water channel that helps to funnel the swell allowing the waves to retain energy and unleash their power closer to the shore. Praia do Norte is very consistent and has heavy and hollow waves recommended for experts only.
