Ponta do Ouro

Ponta do Ouro is a classic right hand point break located 1,5 hours south of Maputo by car. The surf spot has long waves breaking on top of rocks and sand that can peel for 100-200m depending on the conditions. The waves are usually very consistent but the best conditions happen with west wind, south swell and lower tides. Be careful with strong currents.
