Madrid Language Summer Teens Camps - Madrid, . Spain

INTRODUCTION

This teen summer camp in Madrid is designed for young travellers who want to improve their Spanish while enjoying a fun, social, and culturally rich summer experience in Spain. Created for teenagers aged 13 to 18, the program combines language learning, leisure, and discovery in an international setting where students can build confidence, make new friends, and enjoy an unforgettable stay.

With 20 hours of Spanish lessons per week, students learn in small groups with native teachers specialised in teaching Spanish as a foreign language. Classes take place Monday to Friday, 4 hours per day, and are adapted to each student’s level to create a dynamic and enjoyable learning environment.

Outside the classroom, the program focuses on culture and leisure, giving students the chance to explore Madrid’s most famous landmarks and enjoy a variety of organised activities with full supervision. The camp is built around four key pillars — academics, culture, sport, and leisure — creating a balanced experience that helps teenagers develop both language skills and personal confidence during the summer.

THE ACCOMMODATION

Students stay at the camp residence in Getafe, next to Carlos III University and just a short walk from where Spanish lessons take place. This convenient setup allows participants to spend most of their day in a safe and practical environment designed for young international students.

The residence offers the comforts and facilities needed for a pleasant summer stay, including free WiFi, air conditioning, a fully equipped kitchen with microwave and sink, a swimming pool, common areas, and a gym. The camp also places strong emphasis on student wellbeing, aiming to create a welcoming atmosphere where every participant feels at home throughout the program.

The residential experience includes supervised accommodation and round-the-clock support from staff. Students are monitored from arrival through daily activities, and the staff-to-student ratio is 1 instructor for every 10 students, helping ensure a safe, structured, and supportive environment.

THE ACTIVITIES

The main focus of the program is Spanish language learning combined with cultural discovery and leisure activities in Madrid. Students attend 4 hours of Spanish classes each weekday, taught by native teachers in small groups, with lessons designed to improve communication skills while also deepening understanding of Spanish culture.

Outside the classroom, participants enjoy guided visits and cultural outings around Madrid, discovering some of the city’s best-known attractions and monuments. Places mentioned in the program include Madrid city centre, Plaza Mayor, and Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, all visited with the camp’s monitors who accompany students throughout the experience.

The program also includes transport to activities, three full-day excursions, and a visit to a shopping centre. Alongside the academic and cultural side of the camp, students benefit from a lively international atmosphere where they can socialise, have fun, and develop independence, communication, and interpersonal skills.

LOCATION & GETTING HERE

LOCATION

The camp is based in Getafe, in the Madrid area, offering students the chance to enjoy a residential setting while staying connected to one of Spain’s most exciting and culturally important cities. This location is ideal for teenagers looking to combine language learning with urban exploration, history, and entertainment.

Madrid offers a vibrant mix of culture, architecture, public squares, museums, shopping areas, and famous landmarks. Through the camp’s organised excursions and city visits, students can experience the energy of the Spanish capital while discovering iconic places and learning more about local culture and traditions.

Its setting also makes it a great option for teens who are more interested in culture, city life, and social activities than in a beach-based summer camp. The program is especially suited to young travellers who want a balance of education, sightseeing, and an international summer community.

Getting Here

Students arrive via Madrid airport, where camp staff wait to welcome them and accompany them to the residence. From the moment of arrival, participants are supervised by group leaders, making the transfer process simple and reassuring for both students and parents.

Airport transfers are organised by the camp team using private vans, buses, or trusted transport partners. If a student is arriving on a different flight or travelling alone, an individual airport transfer can also be arranged so they can still be met and taken to the campus safely.

Once students arrive at the airport, the camp takes care of the logistics, allowing them to focus on settling in, learning, and enjoying the experience. This full support on arrival is part of the camp’s structured approach to safety and student care.
