Kuta Reef

Kuta Reef is located on the left corner of Kuta beach, about 800 meters offshore. The line up is barely in paddle distance so most surfers hire a boat to take them out. The break has multiple sections that are suitable for different kind of levels of surfers. If you are not very experienced you should try to stick to the shoulder of the wave. The proximity of this wave to the center of Kuta makes it usually very crowded. Don’t be surprised if a local surfer drops in on you.
