INTRODUCTION
Discover the French Riviera’s charm with this immersive camp blending French language learning and sailing adventures for juniors aged 12-17. Hosted on the sunny shores of Antibes, enjoy 20 morning lessons of French per week alongside intensive afternoon sailing at a certified club, all within a supervised campus environment featuring full board and evening entertainment.
French Courses
Qualified professors deliver a standard course for all levels, including 20 lessons of 45 minutes each from Monday to Friday (placement test on first Monday). Classes cover oral/written comprehension, expression, grammar, pronunciation, civilization, and conversational workshops in groups of max 15 students on Campus.
Sailing Sessions
Experience 3 hours of daily sailing Monday-Friday at Antibes Sailing Club (French Sailing Federation member), plus one full-day weekend excursion like Nice, Monaco, or Aquasplash. Equipment and beach activities ensure a thrilling introduction to sailing in small, supervised groups.

THE ACCOMMODATION
Our campus is located in the east side of Antibes in a quiet area and surrounded by a large garden.
- On site: classrooms, accommodation, a large self-service restaurant, a mobile swimming pool and outdoor sports grounds.
- Full Board: breakfast, lunch and dinner (buffet style). Packed lunch at weekends.
- Accommodation in a shared room (up to 4 students per room)
- Common facilities situated on each floor (showers, sinks and toilets).
- Disposable bed linen is provided and changed weekly.
- A shuttle bus is provided from the campus to the beaches and the center of Antibes.
- Room access is restricted (schedule posted on site) for safety and security reasons and also to ease cleaning operations.
- Towels are not provided
- Rooms are completely cleaned once a week. A quick clean-up takes place during the week.
- Students are responsible for their rooms and must keep them clean and tidy.

Security 24/7. Students are supervised by our camp leaders who are on the premises round the clock and ready to help and give information.

Summer
Located in the residential district of Antibes and surrounded by gardens, this 5-acre campus includes classrooms, bedrooms, a swimming pool, a cafeteria, a television room, an amphitheatre and sports grounds.
Bedrooms
Spacious and well equipped bedrooms sleep 2 or 4 students (single rooms are available at an extra charge). There are showers and toilets on each floor.
Maintenance
Bed linen is provided (but not towels) and changed weekly. Light cleaning is done daily and a thorough clean weekly. Students are responsible for their own rooms and should keep them reasonably clean and tidy.
Meals / Full board
All meals are taken on campus, buffet style. On weekend excursions picnic meals are provided.
Free Shuttle Service (depending on our schedule)
- Afternoons: Monday thru’ Friday: 1 pm to 7 pm
- Evenings: Tuesday or Wednesday: 8.30 pm to 11.00 pm
- Fridays : 8.30pm to 1.00am
- Saturdays and days before public holidays: 9.30 am to 1.00 am
Curfew Rules
All outings are strictly controlled by our staff and subject to parental permission.
- 12 years old students are not authorized to leave the campus or go out unaccompanied.
- 13 – 15 years old: ALL students have AUTOMATIC permission to go out unaccompanied until 7.30pm maximum. NO AUTHORIZATION to go out unaccompanied after 7.30 pm.
- 16 – 17 years old: ALL students have AUTOMATIC permission to leave the school unaccompanied until 7.30pm maximum. FOR THE EVENING, the parents can choose to give evening permission as below:
Option 1: NO evening permission unaccompanied from 7:30 pm
Option 2: EVENING PERMISSION in ANTIBES/JUAN-LES-PINS as follows: Monday – Thursday till 10:00 pm* / Fridays, Saturdays, and days prior to a bank holiday till 1.00am- Sundays till 7.30 pm
Parents are informed immediately when these conditions are not respected and the school reserves the right to ground students if necessary.
THE ACTIVITIES
The weekly program, running from Sunday to Saturday, includes French courses on weekdays, afternoon activities and sailing, and evening entertainment.
French Course
Grammar work and the development of oral and written skills through entertaining and motivational learning activities. Our dynamic teaching approach based on an active learning process stimulates children and teens, arouses their interest in language and improves their knowledge of French culture.
The French Lessons are taken in the morning at the campus and participants can choose the standard or intensive course.
Standard Course – All levels
- 20 morning lessons of 45 minutes per week, including daily conservational workshop
- Monday to Friday (except the first Monday of their stay which is dedicated to the placement test)
- 15 students maximum in a class
The 3 hours of daily standard classes are distributed as follows:
- 2 hours of classical work: oral and written comprehension, written and oral expression as well as grammar, pronunciation and French civilization.
- 1 hour of oral activities for a different way of learning with oral linguistic games designed to facilitate learning.
Intensive Course – From level A1
- 25 morning lessons of 45 minutes per week
- Monday to Friday (except the first Monday of their stay which is dedicated to the placement test)
- 15 students maximum per class
The 3h45 of daily intensive courses are designed for motivated students who are willing to progress faster. They offer general French instruction focused on the acquisition of oral, written and grammatical skills essential for each level. Pronunciation and French civilization also complement these skills.
Activities and Excursions:
Sailing: Students will have 3 hours of sailing per day from Monday to Friday at the sailing club of Antibes, member of the French Federation of Sailing.
1 FulL Day Excursion / Activity at the weekend (only available for stays of more than 1 week): One full day excursion/activity at the weekend such as:
– Excursion to Nice
– Aquasplash
– Excursion to Monaco
– Fragonard Museum in Grasse + top tree climbing
Evening activities: A barbecue on Mondays and each evening themed meal, disco party, games, shows, etc.
“KIOSK” Activities
We organize extra activities (Kiosk) that provide students with additional fun.

Antibes/Juan-les-Pins is a prosperous, safe town, that’s lively by both day and night and our most popular destination for teenagers. 6 miles from Nice and 12 miles from Cannes, with 16 miles of beaches and 300 days of sunshine per year.
Distances
Antibes is located 10 km from Cannes, 18 km from the Nice airport and 1 h from Saint-Tropez. It’s near Paris, 1 h20 by plane and 4 h30 by TGV. It’s easy to get to from all over the world, 7 h by plane from New York, 2 h by plane from European capital cities
How can I get around Antibes?
The best way to explore the city is to wander around on foot, bike or scooter. The bus, effectively serving the entire city in a day (~10€/week). In the evening, the succession is assured by the many taxis (student’s price).
- On foot: For short journeys, it is best to walk as you avoid traffic and parking problems especially during the holidays.
- By bus: The bus service goes all around town during the day. A single ticket costs ~1,50€. A week pass costs ~10€
- By taxi: After 20:00 our students get special rates with our CIA student card (between 10 and 20€ for 4 people depending on the journey).

What should I wear in Antibes?
- In summer:: The weather is very sunny and hot, so bring along light clothes and don’t forget your swimming wear, sunglasses and sun cream! A jacket is useful for cool evenings.
- In other seasons: Although the weather is mild all year round, don’t forget to bring along jumpers and jackets!
