Farol

Farol is a right hand pointe break located in front of the lighthouse that signs the enter of Camamu Bay at Peninsula de Maraú. This surf spot only breaks with massive SW swells that only happen during the winter time. Long right handers with powerful barrels break on top of a shallow reef. In order to catch the waves you have to be in perfect position but the strong currents make it a hard task. Only recommended for expert surfers. Be careful with the super strong currents and angry locals.
