Coxos

Coxos is a world class point break located to the north of the charming city of Ericeira and is considered as the best wave in the country. This long, fast and hollow right hand breaks on top of reef and peels down into a small bay. This surf spot can handle large swells as long as they are clean and from the NW. Be extra careful while getting in and out of the ocean since the currents are very strong and the rocks are plagued with sea urchins.
