Peniche Spa & Surf Resort is a brand new resort of 7000 sqm, with 22 comfortable and colorful rooms and a privileged location in Baleal, just 400 mts from the beach and surf spots.
Whether you are just looking for relaxing moments and stunning sunset views or action sports and adrenaline moments, at our resort we have it all.
We offer several Surf Packages, in which our guests can choose between a surf experience or surf coaching, for all ages and skills.
Our resort combines a wide range of facilities and services, such as an outdoor heated swimming pool at 28º, skatepark, climbing boulder, slackline, gym, spa, yoga, game room, living room, rooftop with 500 sqm, restaurant, bar, free wi-fi in all areas of the resort, as well as surfboards, skates and bikes to rent and have fun!

THE ACTIVITIES
Surf
Staff
Certified surf instructors will teach everything you need to know about surf, equipment, weather conditions and security issues. It’s ok if you never even seen a board, or if you don’t know how to dress a wetsuit… Our surf instructors will guide you and teach you, sharing their experience and skills.
Beginner
For those who have never surfed before, or surfed for a few times, but still struggle with standing up or paddling out. (available from Monday to Friday)
Intermediate
If you can successfully stand up, paddle out alone and feel comfortable catching unbroken waves, this is the group for you. (available from Monday to Friday)
Advanced
Advanced surfers should be autonomous and able to select a wave and take off. Students will learn skills on how to improve take off on a wave, turn on time, how to get speed, how to do better turns and cutbacks. (available from Monday to Friday)
Private classes
Get all the surf instructor attention and make the most of your time! Available for all surf levels, our private classes are perfect for those who want to improve their skills or want faster results. (Up to 3 people p/class. Available every day – upon request)

LOCATION & GETTING HERE
Location
Baleal Spa Adventures Resort Peniche is located 100m away from the beach. Our outside area features the only skatepark in Baleal, a climbing boulder, a pool heated at 28º all year round and a wide solarium with lounge chairs. We are also close to supermarket, pharmacy, bars, and restaurants all in walking distances.
Getting Here
From Lisbon by car
- Take the A8 in the direction of Leiria and drive for 70 kilometers until you find exit 14 to Peniche.
- Turn to the IP6 and follow the direction to Peniche.
- When you arrive in Peniche, you will find a series of roundabouts.
- On the first two roundabouts, you should go straight 2nd exit.
- On the third roundabout, turn right on the first exit to Baleal
Arrival by bus
There isn’t a direct bus from the Lisbon Airport (LIS) to Baleal. You can take a taxi, which will cost you around 10 EUR, from the airport to one of the main bus stations of Lisbon; Sete Rios bus station and Campo Grande bus station.
You may check out the bus timetables at their websites. Make sure you go all the way until the bus stops at the last and terminal station.
