INTRODUCTION
In Portugal there are countless world-class surf spots, so you can always find a suitable wave for beginners to professionals. The surroundings of our camp are blessed with numerous beaches and breaks for surfers of all levels. The sunny and mild weather makes Portugal a great destination all year long. In Spring and Summer temperatures rise to 25 to 35C and water temperature is between 14 and 22 degrees.
Our surf camp offers surf and climbing lessons and camps for beginner, intermediate or advanced levels, of all ages in small groups of maximum 6 participants. We will find a perfect wave and mountain for you as well as guarantee you a lot of fun in a safe setting together with our experienced instructors. Our holidays are also great for families as we offer childcare for kids under age of 6. For those who are already experienced and want to surf or climb by themselves we can provide transportation and advice about the best spots in the area.
Our beautiful house is located in Praia das Maças just walking minutes from the beach and the town centre. It has a big garden with chill area, two BBQs, pizza oven and a yoga space. Our house has a fully equipped kitchen and living area where our guests can cook and socialise while enjoying free coffee and tea.
In your free time from our classes you can do the sightseeing in Sintra, Lisbon and Cascais, play beach volleyball, visit some amazing local wine tastings, enjoy beer and barbecue and watch sunsets in our garden or just relax with the book or go for a massage.
THE ACCOMMODATION
We offer a beautiful house in Praia das Maças, it is located only three minutes walk from the beach and the town centre with cosy bars and cafés, shops, a supermarket and every morning farmer’s market with fresh fish and vegetables. For surfing we go to the neighbouring Praia Grande which is also just a few walking minutes away.
Or house offers a garden over three levels with a chill area, two BBQs, pizza oven and a yoga space. Perfect place for sunset beers, barbecue, socialising, reading, yoga and sunbathing.

THE ACTIVITIES
SURFING AND SURF COURSES
Portugal is a perfect place for surfing the temperatures are warm and the surf conditions are great. Not to mention countless world class surf spots.
In our area you can enjoy untouched nature and and waves just for us. We offer courses for experienced surfers and beginners with experienced, highly qualified and motivated surf instructors and our high quality equipment. In the classes you will get necessary theoretical knowledge: theory about waves, currents and rips, weather forecasts, surfboard designs, safety rules on land and water. All the lessons will be adapted to the individual level of each guest so you can learn surfing in a safe and fun way.
We offer:
- Surf lessons for children from 6 years and for families.

- 2x 90-minute surf yoga lessons per week
From Monday to Friday we offer you a surf holiday. Each day on the camp is divided into half a day surfing which is either morning or afternoon, depending on the conditions and half a day free. Two days a week there is also a 90 minute yoga session.

CLIMBING COURSE
In Portugal, we are lucky to have both the sea and the mountains and offer our guests beautiful climbing spots by the sea or in the mountains. Our courses are aimed at adults between the ages of 20 and 50 for all levels. We guarantee top qualified, experienced guides that know every rock in the surroundings and will guarantee your safety and fun during the course. High-quality equipment is provided.
Every climbing course starts with theory on following topics: Climbing safety, climbing vocabulary, spotting bouldering, rope technique, equipment, accident insurance and more.

Location
Our camp it is located only three minutes walk from the beach and the Praia das Maças town centre with cosy bars and cafés, shops, a supermarket and every morning farmer’s market with fresh fish and vegetables. And just a few minutes walk to the surfing beach Praia Grande.

Getting Here
Best way is taking plane to Lisbon. From here:
Option 1 – via Rossio train station
- Take the airport bus to the train station Rossio in the centre of Lisbon (about 3,50€)
- Areobus walk from the bus stop “Rossio” to the train station “Rossio”
- Take the train direction Sintra station
- Trains leave every 30 minutes.
- Get off at Portale de Sintra station
Option 2 – via Oriente train station
- Buy a green card and load it at the counter with the Metro ticket and the train ticket
- From the airport take the red metro line towards Sao Sebastiao (about 1.50€)
- Get off at the stop “Oriente” and follow the signs to the trains
- Take the train to “Sintra”
- Trains leave every 20-30 minutes
- Get off at Portale de Sintra station
When you’re on the train send us an SMS or WhatsApp message and we’ll come and pick you up.
