INTRODUCTION
Our Hostel is the perfect place to relax after a long day, where you can rest in a perfect paradise. You will find a set of facilities newly built with clean-looking finishings and arranged for your comfort. Utilities include a wide T-shaped swimming pool with shades over the lounging area; a bar that serves delicious dishes on demand as well as varied and healthy breakfast options, Wi-Fi, and reception service. If you are looking for a sports adventure we can schedule surfing and a windsurfing class for all levels.

THE ACCOMMODATION
Our twin rooms with pool view are perfect for couples or friends who want their privacy and maximum comfort. With heated floors, ensuit bathroom, flat screen TV, fridge and a terrace and view over the swimming pool, our rooms will offer you pure relaxation.
We have also 3 types of dorm rooms: for 6, 8 and 12 people. They are beautifully decorated and ensure your privacy and security with bed, curtains, lockers and heating during winter. Free bed linen is available including duvets. The two big communal bathrooms are equipped with hair dryer and shower gel. Our communal kitchen is fully equipped and open to our guests.

At Sagres Sun Stay, we are committed to being environmentally friendly, reducing pollution, energy use and plastic. Especially since we are in the Natural Park of Costa Vicentina, we have a duty towards our local habitat and our planet. For these reasons we use LED light bulbs, we have time sensors for the lamps and have installed solar panels in our roofs which supply 90% of the energy necessary for our hostel.
THE ACTIVITIES
SURF Lessons
Our surf school offers lessons, for those who are not interested in accommodation. We are able to adapt to different levels, taking into account your well-being and goals. Depending on the wind direction and swell, the surf instructors will choose the best spot to surf on the day. If you are looking for accomodation and a more inclusive experience, please check prices.
- 1 surf classes of 3H per day, divided by 2 sessions (1H30 + 1H30 =3H)

LOCATION & GETTING HERE
Location
Our Surf House is located in the main road of Sagres and just a 15 mins walk (10 mins by bike) from Mareta Beach and Tonel Beach.
- Local Market: To get local and fresh products (fish, vegetables…), go to the local market. It is only 10 min walk from our hostel.
- Supermarket: is located 5-min walk from the hostel.
- Bus stop: 3 minutes walk from hostel
Getting Here
From Lisbon’s airport: take the metro’s red line and get off at São Sebastião’s station. Go to the blue line (direction Reboleira) and get off at Jardim Zoológico’s station. Walk to the Central Bus Station and get the bus to Sagres. You can check the timetable at Rede Expresso’s website.
From Faro’s airport:
- BUS: take the bus 14 or 16 to Faro Bus Terminal. From here, take the bus to Lagos Bus Terminal and then the bus to Sagres. There is a bus stop close to the hostel and you can check the timetable for buses from Lagos to Sagres at Eva’s website.
- Transfers:
We can arrange a direct transfer from the airport to the hostel at any time at an additional cost. We collaborate with local companies to guarantee the best price.
- Car: from highway A22 till Lagos and then follow the Estrada Nacional 125 until our hostel in Sagres.

Please note that the first class includes a level test. This will help us organise better your daily classes.
Beginner level:

Advanced level:
– 4 hours of windsurf classes (in 2 days) + 3 days of free equipment rental (equipment insurance not included)
