Praia de Copacabana

Copacabana Beach is world wide famous for its beauty and on the right conditions can produce some amazing waves. In the middle of the bay there is a ledge that on a huge SW swell produces some incredible barrels. On the right corner there is a shallow slab called “Shock” that is popular among bodyboarders and a long point break ideal for longboarders. The best swell direction is SW and winds from SW that usually  occur during wintertime.
