INTRODUCTION
Consider us as your first choice for quality kiteboarding instruction. During your kite holidays in Tarifa, practice kitesurfing with our certified IKO instructors (International Kiteboarding Organization) and FAV (Federación Andaluza de Vela). While teaching you kitesurfing technics in a professional manner and a friendly, safe atmosphere, they will ensure that you are having a lot of fun.
Being a small kitesurfing school in Tarifa, we ensure that all of our instructors follow our guidelines when teaching. Thanks to the years of experience we know that everyone learns differently and at their own speed. That’s why, we have designed our kiteboarding lessons with individual approach and personal advice. We have something to offer all ages, levels and conditions.
If there is no wind, which happens rarely in Tarifa, you can enjoy other activities like yoga, climbing, paddle surfing, surfing, mountain biking, diving, whale watching or take a trip to Morocco which is only 35 minutes by Ferry or discover other stunning villages and nature of Andalusia.
We also provide a wide range of accommodation options, such as the kite house our studios or private rooms. All located in just a short walking distance to restaurants, shops, beach and school meeting point. Modern and fully equipped with everything you need for a convenient stay.
The weather in Tarifa ranges anywhere between 28/18 °C throughout the year and the best conditions tend to be from March to November. Whereas June through August is the busiest time for kiteboarders, so if you want a bit quiet atmosphere come around April/May or September/October. Tarifa is always a great spot for kitesurfing, as the winds blow here more than 300 days per year. Our best advice is to check the forecast in advance or prior to your visit.

Kite House
is around 160 squares meters, spread over 3 floors.It is located less than 5 minutes away from the city center of Tarifa, 2 minutes walk to a supermarket and only a few steps from the kite school meeting point.

Private Rooms

THE ACTIVITIES
KITEBOARDING COURSES
Our usual teaching beaches are Los Lances, Valdevaqueros and Balneario kite spots.
There are 2 Types of winds in Tarifa Poniente and Levante.
Poniente is predominant wind especially in summer, with a speed between 12 and 18 knot. Poniente is great for learning and practicing kite surfing, constant wind and it will always bring you to the shore. Kite size for these conditions is between 14 and 9 meters.
Levante can get really strong, usually it is between 20 and 60 knots. Levante is good for learning and practicing kite surfing, with flat water. No need to be worried, during Levante there is always rescue teams on the boat, making sure everyone stays safe. Kite size for these conditions is between 5 and 9 meters.

Beginner Course
For your first steps to the kitesurfing we offer a wide range of kitesurfing courses and prices to suit every budget. We are offering courses from 1 day introduction to full training course of 4 days or more. In only few days you will be already standing on the board.

Intermediate and Advanced Course
Intermediate – evaluate your level and start learning from where you finished in your last lesson. In these courses we will visit different spots of Tarifa, other beaches and areas.
Refresh your knowledge and safety rules and get the confidence back with our instructor. Our instructor will help and correct the mistakes you are making (Body position, kite position). You will practice up wind, turns, jumps.
Advanced – this course is for experienced kiters who want to try new tricks, or those who haven´t been kiting for a while and want to get back on track. In these courses we will visit different spots of Tarifa, other beaches and areas. Refresh your knowledge and safety rules and get the confidence back with our instructor. Our instructor will help and correct the mistakes you are making (Body position, kite position). Learn new disciplines as surfboard, strapless, hydrofoil.
Hydrofoil – is the latest trend of kitesurfing that offers you a whole new experience of riding!
To start this course you have to have a good kite control in every wind conditions, have a good level with a twintip, be confident re-launching of the kite in light wind conditions.
You will learn:
- Set up and maintenance of the hydrofoil
- Position and placement of the feet
- Handle and enter the water with the foil
- First attempt to ride with the hydrofoil (walkie talkie assistance and advice from the instructor)
- Follow from the instructor in the water with another kite and foil.
EQUIPMENT RENTAL
You are responsible in case of loss, damage of equipment and the safety of other kiters.
However at an additional charge we offer supervision of our kite instructors and kite insurance.
As the wind conditions and directions in Tarifa can get challenging, it is possible to book a rescue boat assistance from 11am to 8pm for an additional charge, you just need to book one ticket for the whole holiday.
Possible change the size of the kite and board (as many time as wanted), if the wind conditions change.

LOCATION & GETTING HERE
LOCATION
Our provided accommodations are located very centrally, just 2 minutes walking distance from the old town with all the restaurants, bars and shops, a supermarket, from the main beach of Tarifa and from our kite school meeting point. You can walk everywhere you need.
Late June through August is the busiest time for kiteboarders visiting Tarifa, so if you want a bit quiet atmosphere come around April/May or September/October.
However Tarifa is always a great spot for kitesurfing, as the winds blow here more than 300 days per year.
Getting Here
There is no Airport in Tarifa, the nearest airports are :
- Gibraltar (45km): flights mainly from England
- Jerez (112km): flights mainly from Switzerland and Germany
- Málaga (152km): flights from the most Europeans cities
- Sevilla (208km): flights from the most Europeans cities
From those Airport you can get to Tarifa by Car rental, bus or carpool.
We do not offer shuttles services or pick ups from the airport.

Our suggestion is to rent a car to come to Tarifa. Car rentals in Spain have very accessible prices and own car will give you more freedom to move around and explore the areas. Goldcar, Firefly and Record Go have normally good offers and rates. Prices vary between 5€ and 15€/day |
| Bus |
The list of departure places as well as timetables and prices you can find on the website of the Avanza bus and Comes. From Málaga airport, you will have to go to Algeciras first, as there is no direct bus to Tarifa. This will take about 2 hours and then take another bus from the same bus station to Tarifa (30 min ride). Bus ticket cost around 20€. From Sevilla (central station), there are direct buses to Tarifa. Bus ticket cost around 20€. |
| Car Pool |
Car sharing rides from the airports to Tarifa are getting more popular, you can find a car share on apps like Blablacar. The trip could cost between 12 and 20€ |
