We will accommodate you in one of the three surf house of the the Lanzarote kite and surf camp in front of the Ocean, at Famara Beach, a 6 kilometers sandy beach in the middle of the Natural Park and Biosphere reserve, with non-stop left and right waves in winter as in summer! Do you want more privacy ? We have also apartment available, under request… ย
Every day, we go kiting and surfing in Famara Beach, a beach break perfect for beginners and intermediates that gives its best with wind and swell from NW/NE. THE ACCOMMODATION
Situated in front of the most popular beach of Lanzarote, the kite surf, SUP and Surf camp is only three minutes walking far from Famara beach, where we go kiting and surfing every day! Once landed in Lanzarote, our staff will come to pick you-up directly to the South International Airport to let you enjoy your holidays without any stress!
The camp is composed by 3 different Surf houses dedicated to the best of the early seventies rock n roll masterpieces… We can host at maximum of 30 people at the same time in private or shared rooms, completely refurbished with a rock n’ roll style combining the wild atmosphere of this unique beautiful island with the surf, rock and fun mood of our surf crew!

THE ACTIVITIES
The surf and kite surf in Lanzarote are synonym of Famara Beach! A beautiful 6 kilometers beach hit by never ending amount of swell making it one of the most consistent beaches in the Atlantic. Northern swells can produce good waves in summer, although it is the north and western winter swells that have built Lanzarote’s reputation amongst the surfing community worldwide.

Famara beach is all golden sand, flat and ideal for surfing progression with waves to suit all Surf levels. With year round waves and warm water Lanzarote is the ideal surf camp venue. Moreover thanks to the frequency of wind it turned to be a perfect spot for kite surfers as well.
Surf Courses in Lanzarote…
The surf courses in Lanzarote are taken at Famara beach few steps from the surf camp, for all of the three different levels: beginner, intermediate and advanced. Private surf lessons are available under request!
All surf school packages includes:
- 5 hours of surf class per day ( 2,5 hours am & pm )
- Theory at the beach, warm-up and surf session
- Surfboard and wetsuit
- One surf instructor every 8 students maximum
- Insurance
- Photo/Video session ( available under request )
The course timetable varies from the wind and tide conditions. This will be notified with one days notice. Upon arrival you will receive a brief explanation of the daily activities.
A day of surf at Famara beach: The Surf lesson begins around 10:30 in the morning. After the material handout you will be taken to the beaches where you will begin some short theory about the Surf and Safety. After the warm up to prevent muscular injuries and then the practice you will have a break for a picnic (Sandwich and drink) before the second surf lesson at 15:30.
Kite surf course in Lanzarote
The Kite surf courses in Lanzarote are taken at Famara beach few steps from the surf camp, for all of the three different levels: beginner, intermediate and advanced. Private kite surf classes are available under request!
All kite surf school packages includes:
- 5 Kite surf classes ( 3 hours/ day )
- Theory at the beach, warm-up and kite surf session
- All material: Kite, board, harness, helmet, life jacket, radio.
- One certified surf instructor every 2 students maximum
- Insurance
- Photo/Video session ( available under request )
The course timetable varies from the wind and tide conditions. This will be notified with one days notice. Upon arrival you will receive a brief explanation of the daily activities. ย
A day of Kite surf at Famara beach: Kite surf is an easy to learn sport on this 6 km sandy beach! With the help of our IKO instructors you will learn rapidly and with total security. At the end of the course, participants will be self-sufficient and capable of navigating by themselves and they will have learned all the basics on not only self safety, but safety for others too. Incase the conditions for Kite surf are not suitable, you will have the chance to exchange the Kite surf courses for Surf Lessons.
SUP courses in Lanzarote
The SUP courses are taken to different spot around Famara Beach and Arrecife, depending on waves conditions, for all of the three different levels: beginner, intermediate and advanced.
All Stand up paddle school packages includes:
- 5 Stand up paddle classes ( 3 hours/ day )
- Theory at the beach, warm-up and surf session
- Material
- One surf instructor every 8 students maximum
- Transfer to the beach
- Insurance

Try the SUP and Wine-tapas tour in Lanzarote: Depending on wind and wave conditions you will go paddling between the main spots of the marina de Arrecife with an instructor always monitoring the group. Than after a challenging afternoon of Stand up paddle, what better than a couple of beers or a soft drink, tasting delicious tapas ? The tour is available for friends, couples and families during the surf, sup or kite surf camp.

Being the easternmost island of the Canary archipelago, Lanzarote is a spectacular combination of fire and water, with volcanos and black lava rock doted with whitewashed houses, dominatingย a landscape from another planet of phantasmagorically, almost lunar beauty. The entire island has been declared as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and hosts the Timanfaya National Park, a spectacular volcanic landscape formed by two recent eruptions of the 18th. and 19th. centuries.
The Island is also an example of sustainable tourism with a complete integration with the environment, in great part due to Cesar Manrique, an artist and architect who was committed in rediscovering the beauty of the landscape and the culture of Lanzarote and convinced the islanders to do so as well.
CANARY ISLANDS
Known as the “Fortunate Islands”, the Canary Islands enjoy a permanent spring like, subtropical climate cooled by the Ocean breeze and the Trade Winds, with warm waters and consistent swell most of the year.ย Off the coast of Morocco, Spanish territory and outpost of the European Union, the Canary Islands are but a two hour flight from Madrid and the mainland.
The “Hawaii of the Atlantic”, as the islands are referred to by surfers, this volcanic archipelago is formed by seven islands. Lanzarote thanks to its morphology offers quality reef breaks that give its best from November to March, and from April to October offers suitable conditions for beginner and intermediate too. A 3.2 mm wetsuit is optimal all year long ( with water among the 18ยฐ C – 20ยฐ C degrees ) and thanks to wind and waves consistency, also during summer is easy surf on the NW side of the Island.ย

BY BUS OR TAXI
Take a bus from the Airport to Arrecife, following direction Famara.
From Monday to Friday – Line 22 from the airport to Arrecife, than line 20 directed to Caleta de Famara.
Weekends – Line 23 from the airport to Arrecife, than line 3 directed to Teguise and finally line 31 from Costa Teguise to Caleta de Famara.
Taxi available from 30,- โฌ * per way. No problems if you carry your surfboard with you!

The Surf Camp offers you many different solutions for your surfing holiday in Lanzarote (private apartment available under request!). With transfer included from the South airport and the experience of local home-made surf and kitesurf school, you will be staying few steps from the best kite and surf spot of the island! No matter if you come alone or with a bunch of friends… We will be able to offer you the best Surf, Kitesurf and SUP private or group lessons in Lanzarote!
Are you not sure between surf, kite and SUP? We can combine a special package for you, without stops from one surf session and kite surf one! You can also book private lessons which will give you that one on one special treatment, and will help you progress a lot more. Ask our reservation department if you would like to rent equipment as well.
Surf camp Package
Beginners, intermediate and advanced level

- 4 hours/day surf course (5 days) with Certified instructors

Our schedule looks like this:
At 10:30 we meet at the school, students fill out the indemnity forms, change into wetsuits and we select boards for them
By 11:00 we are on the beach, do the warm-up, divide students into groups according to their level, provide surfing theory and conduct exercises on the sand, and after that go into the water
At 13:00 we take a break, providing hot sandwiches and juices for everyoneย
At 13:30 we continue the surf session, do a bit of warm-up, more exercises on the sand and go back into the water
By 15:00 we finish the lesson, bring everyone back to the school, give them time to change and they’re free to go by 15:30
