We are a modern house beach resort surrounded by nature at its best. The beautiful Arugambay lagoon, landmarking the place from one side while the beach is in sight.
Arugambay Surf Resort is accompanying the best surfing school, we have ISA certified group of coaches to coach you and to make it the best surf camp experience you will ever have. We coach Beginners to Experts and Kiddies to Adults. We have every type of surfboards. Most importantly, we have various surfing points over the area which will give unforgettable experiences every time you surf.
The accommodation facilities at Our Resort are up to the standard and welcome you to a big, clean and comfortable stay. All rooms are attached with big and clean bathrooms with rain showers.
You can have your meals while watching elephants, birds, bulls and other animals at our big restaurant which is opened to the Arugambay lagoon. Our restaurant provides delicious, mouth-watering Local and Western menus for you. Our friendly staff is always there to make the place a wonderful stay.
Our yoga gurus will wake you up, to a wonderful morning. And an outside, sit at lagoon facing the beautiful sunset will set you free from your tiredness at the evening. At Arugambay Surf Resort there are lots of other activities for you to participate while you are here. Wildlife safaris, lagoon safaris, historical place visits, night camp adventure and etc.

THE ACTIVITIES
Surf
Arugambay is the best surfing location in Sri Lanka, as well as one of the best surfing destinations in the World. Surfing season starts from March and runs till the end of September.
During the season, lots of surfers from around the world are flying to Sri Lanka, especially for this surfing season. The real reasons for this attraction, is the surf-friendly wave break, panoramic views, wildlife, boat rides, night camps and numbers of other great activities they can go on.
In Arugambay we have several surfing points. Some surf points are suitable for beginners and some points are only for the experts.
At Arugambay surf camp, we surf from 6 am to 6 pm. You will surf 2 hours per day, for 7 days with our professional coaches. Our group speaks English and some speaks German as well.
Transportation will be provided by the camp for the selected surf points and our coaches will personally pay their attention to each and every player.

Location
Arugam Bay is a bay situated on the Indian Ocean in the dry zone of Sri Lanka’s southeast coast, and a historic settlement of the ancient Batticaloa Territory.The bay is located 320 kilometres due east of Colombo, 117 kilometres south of Batticaloa, and approximately 4 kilometres south of the market town of Pottuvil.
Getting Here
We offer airport pickups on request. (Not included in the package) Also there are public transports available from Colombo to Arugambay.
If you would like to experience public transport, there are several ways you can use. But the most easiest and comfortable way is to take the direct luxury coach at night. But it depends on your arrival time. This trip costs Rs.1100 only. ( We can help you book the tickets in prior)
