Surfing in Landes

Landes is located in southwest France and in the south of the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine. The most famous surf spots are located in the renowned city of Hossegor that every year hosts important international contests. Hossegor has a wide and deepwater canyon that allows west and northwest swells to reach the beach with an immense amount of energy. This is what makes this area so special and generates emerald green barrels that peel along incredibly perfect sandbanks.
