INTRODUCTION
North Spain Surf Camp is located in Berria, an extraordinary Spanish coastal community and surf town. Berria is part of a beautiful coastal town called Santoña with many restaurants and entertainment options. Located just 40 minutes from Bilbao, and 30 minutes from Santander.
Our Surf Camp, located a short distance from the surf spots and the city center, offers everything you need for a perfect vacation. The coast of Cantabria is famous for its constant surf conditions and offers excellent waves for all levels of surfing.
Our camp staff and professional surf instructors will help you create great memorable moments under the sun. After a stay you are likely to leave with a big smile, a nice tan and lots of new friends.
Available all year round, on holidays, throughout the summer, except in the month of July (only for minors).

Our Surf House is at the edge of the sea, in front of the best wave area of the beach and we have six bright rooms, three bathrooms, a living room and a kitchen available for our guests. At night you will go to sleep listening to the waves.

THE ACTIVITIES
Surf
Beginners can catch waves near the coast on the beautiful sandy beaches that they’ll get to see in the surf lessons, while the more skilled surfers can get to know some of the many popular surf spots nearby. We’ve been teaching surfing courses and successfully organizing surf camps for more than 20 years.
Our goal is to provide you with one of the best experiences of your life. We give you the best photos, plus an HD video of your camp. Our surf camps are adapted to all levels. Come and get started in the wonderful world of surfing at our surf school, or perfect your technique with our qualified surf instructors.
Equipment is included, everything you need to learn and practice surfing will be available throughout your stay (soft boards, epoxy boards, wetsuits…). The camp includes 2 hours of surf lessons in the morning and 2 in the afternoon. You’ll also have 4 hours of supervised free surf.

Getting Here
The surf camp is in the Beach of Santoña 53 kms from Santander and 85 kms from Bilbao.
We offer transfers from Bilbao airport and Santander Airport for extra cost.
What do I need to bring?
- Bathing suit

- Long trousers, in case it gets a bit chilly
- Bring a camera because you’ll always want a souvenir of your surf camp and some money if you want to book an extra tour, walk around town, buy ice cream, etc.
- As for the documents we recommend bringing: your ID and health card.

- ACCOMMODATION: The dorm rooms and the school are on the beach of Berria, offering you the opportunity to contemplate amazing views of the beach.
- QUALIFIED INSTRUCTORS: The professionals who teach the surf lessons are properly qualified and hold certifications from the Spanish Surf Federation, as well as national and international experience in practicing surfing.
- SAFETY: We have a team of rescue and lifeguard specialists to ensure you enjoy your surf camp for adults in Cantabria to the fullest and feel completely safe.
- INSURANCE INCLUDED: Our surf campers are covered in rare cases of accidents and are provided with a policy that includes Civil liability.
- SURF LESSONS: 2 hours of surf lessons in the morning and 2 in the afternoon, as well as 4 hours of supervised free surfing.
- FULL OR HALF BOARD: We provide meals based on an energy-rich diet, prepared with fresh products by professionals.
- AIRPORT TRANSFER: For an small extra cost, we have our own van to pick you up and take you to the airport, whether it is Bilbao or Santander.
- EQUIPMENT INCLUDED: soft and epoxy boards; wetsuits and others, that will be available throughout the stay.
