INTRODUCTION
A rural house with the typical architecture of Cantabria, located between the town of Somo and Loredo, in Cantabria, a 5-minute walk from the beach, the spectacular 1st Surf Reserve in Spain with more than 4 km of Playa de white sand and breakers to practice Surfing safely very close to the bay of Santander.
It is decorated with great exquisiteness with a modern, attractive style and a rustic touch. The double rooms are spacious and have a complete bathroom, TV and heating in the heart of Somo Cantabria, a unique place for surfing. Fall in love with the sea with a surf school which is run by authentic surf professionals, graduates and with extensive experience to offer you the best classes and manoeuvres.

THE ACCOMMODATION
The inn has water sports facilities and a bicycle rental service. All rooms include, heating, flat-screen TV and some have views of the mountains or garden. They also have a private bathroom with a bath or shower. Free WiFi is available in all areas of the Surf House.

# 3 This room is located on the top floor, it offers all comforts to relax, the furniture of this room is inspired by the beach and the cliffs of Langre.
# 4 Our suite on the top floor can accommodate 4 people, it is perfect for families or small groups to enjoy and relax. The device is inspired by the largest island of Cantabria, ‘Santa Maria’. Private balcony overlooking the garden and mountains
#5 A comfortable suite on the top floor of the house overlooking the garden and the mountains of Cantabria, it offers all comforts to relax. The decor is inspired by Puntal beach.
#6 This room on the top floor of the house is inspired by our bay Galizano, a magical and quiet beach. It is ideal for a perfect holiday to enjoy and relax.
Facilities
- Garden: The lovely and perfectly maintained garden is surrounded by fruit trees, flowers and herbs. You can have breakfast at one of our tables. You also can relax in a hammock, enjoy on one of the sunbeds, jump on the trampoline or enjoy another activity. Our garden provides enough bursts for everyone.
- Salon and conservatory: The common area is cosy and decorated in a surfer style. It is important for us to make you feel comfortable and happy during your stay at our Surfhouse. It is a very special place to enjoy and relax. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, organize conferences and workshops will be in the conservatory.
- The backyard: The area behind the house is set up for Fitness, especially functional training. The equipment is for free available, so you can complete a perfect workout.
- Lounge & Bar: It is important to us that you can enjoy your free time to the maximum. Therefore, we have built a cozy lounge and a bar in our garden. You can have a beer, glass of wine etc. while relax at a chilled atmosphere and enjoy some good music.
THE ACTIVITIES
Children & Whole Family Surf Course
Time: 3hours (Beginner / intermediate)
The Surf School has developed its own method to teach. The principle is based on three pillars: The teaching of surfing, security and pleasure!! The training and experience of our team make working with children a unique experience. Instructors are specialists in the teaching of the level I.
Groups: 1 instructor can teach max. 6 children up from 6 years.
Private: 1 instructor per student. The kid get maximum attention. The security of learning is guaranteed (for children up from 3 years).
The whole family: The Surf School has developed an offer for the whole family. With a private teacher provides the surf school, to learn surfing with the whole family. Each family member has a change to the best service. It is important that the entire family is having fun, feel safe and can enjoy the experience of surfing together.
Groups Surf Lessons
Time: 1h30 (Beginner / intermediate)
Surfing means to have fun!!!Therefore, it is a great way for friends, schools, associations, clubs, birthdays, bachelor parties, etc. to enjoy a surf lesson together. This service has been specially designed so our clients get to know the magic of surfing.
Intensive Surf Lessons
Time: 3 hours (Beginner / intermediate/ Advanced / Competition)
After many years of experience, the team from the School has decided to give a maximum of 3 intensive hours of surf lessons, so the fun of surfing remains. Surfing is a physical and mental challenge. After these 3 hours, you can put your equipment away and relax while you have a drink.
Surfaris
Time: 5hours (Middle Level/ Intermediate/ Competition)
Our Top Service!!! The Surf School has created a tour, to show you the best spots in our region in Cantabria. Our goal is to find the best places for our surf sessions. It is a great opportunity to ride the perfect wave. We want to communicate the value for the optimum conditions. Our professional team accompanies you on this surf-adventure, which takes about 5 hours. In this package is a Super Surfer Luch included.
Surf Coaching + Video + Photo
Time: 5hours (Beginner/ intermediate/ Advanced/ Competition)
Another of our power deals is, that we can support each surfer with a video- and photo analyse to improve his level.
With a focus on the technique and tactics in the water, we can help during training to optimize the style and speed.
Special Surf Course
For people with disabilities, we have a special course offer. An experience which offers surfing is, to use this sport as an instrument to promote personal development. We want to give people with a handicap the opportunity to experience the contact with the sea! We support them as instructors and want them to enjoy these hours to a maximum. An experience to have fun and be challenged.
We want to teach them surfing as a philosophy so that they can learn to grow internally. We want them to learn about the environment and the sea. So they feel closer to nature and will learn to overcome their fears.

Located in the town of Somo – Cantabria, 5 minutes walk from the 1st Reserve surf of Spain with more than 4 km of white sandy beach in the bay of Santander. The Surf camp and all the other facilities available are situated in Somo, 15 minutes far from Santander, the capital of Cantabria.

Easy to reach by car through the north Spanish motorway, Santander is only one hour and a half from Bilbao.
From Madrid: Follow Madrid-Burgos 635 National Burgos-Santander, after catch the Cantabrian motorway towards Bilbao. Exit n.11 Heras-Pedreña then follow road sign till Somo!
From Gijon: Cantabrian motorway towards Bilbao, follow direction Santander Bilbao last exit Heras-Pedreña, then direction Somo.
