INTRODUCTION
Salina Cruz Surf House is a family business providing full service all inclusive epic surf tours in Salina Cruz, Mainland Mexico. The house sits on top of a hill overlooking the Pacific Ocean, the Port of Salina Cruz and three of the major point breaks.
The house has quick access to a barreling beach break right out front, an ocean view infinity pool, patio with hammocks and shade along with a sauna called a “Temascal”, high speed internet is provided along with an X-box 360, single to quadruple rooms with private bathrooms, air conditioning and daily housekeeping service.
Our activities are surfing, surf explores, visit the ruins and nightlife tours. Our traditional dishes are per excellence the seal of the house and the experienced local surf guides. We know what conditions make the points or beach breaks work. We are always looking to score the best waves!!
You can enjoy the fantastic sunsets from our swimming pool having a cold corona or just chill at the Salina Cruz square and enjoy the culture.
We are open from March to October only, we are pets friendly and everybody is welcome! From beginners to advanced, with long boards, short boards, bodyboarders. Single travels, couples, friends, and families.

THE ACTIVITIES
Surf
Our love and passion to explore and surf uncrowded waves has been teaching us the tricks about the Salina Cruz surf conditions and we had explored the whole area between Huatulco and Oaxaca border with Chiapas, found more than 20 options to surf in just 200 km of coast line. I can tell you it’s warm, it’s tropical, and it’s just perfect. As an exotic destination with pristine beaches with most locations only accessible via 4×4 or boat.
Our experienced surf guides are aware of daily wave forecasts and take into consideration all the variables such as tide height, wind, swell direction, and sandbars to take you to the best possible surf suitable for the current conditions and your skill level.
- The duration of the surf sessions is between 2 – 5 hours depending on conditions
- Surf Session are two times a day or surfaris for all day.
- Private lessons are available upon request, but normally you will have more fun on our surf tours for all levels (different groups)
- The ratio is 3 – 5 surfers per instructor according to the level
- The lessons/guidings are English and Spanish
- Punta Conejo the most perfect wave for beginners.

LOCATION & GETTING HERE
Location
Salina Cruz Surf House is located 15 minutes drive to the closest surf point, we all use 4×4 trucks to get to the waves with experienced surf guide! You will only have to relax and let us do the rest…
In Salina Cruz you have to drive for surfing, is not a hotel or beach front of it. But at the city you can find anything you need. If you bring you own car you can drive around with out problems. Salina cruz is pretty safe.
Salina Cruz has a tropical weather all year around, during the summer, we have the best surf conditions because the swells from south hemisphere get us plus the good winds from S and SW make off shore at the points. Winter is off season because north winds show up and the ocean gets flat and windy.
Getting Here
From Mexico City fly into Huatulco (hux) and we will take care of pick you up and drive you 2 hours to get to Salina Cruz.
