Nestled away on the cool Escondido coast, you’ll be transported to a surfer’s paradise away from the hustle and bustle. This town is no different! If you’re looking for wellness, Puerto Escondido Surf Club hosts yoga classes, mindfulness, and different workshops.
You can find Breathtaking Pacific Ocean views, water activities, you can discover the more traditional local markets… There is lots of day trips availables, as well as, adventures through nature with canopy, ziplining and much more! For those surfers looking for a bit of a tour, Let us show you the local spots. Take a guide out with you and get some good tips from surf professionals.

SURF CONDITIONS
Puerto Escondido is one of the best surf destination in the world and one of the best destinations for surfing in Mexico. Waves are huges and spectacular barrells break powerfull on Playa Zicatela (Zicatela beach is considered a wave for advance surfers).
Other famous spots in the area: La Punta (lefts waves) and Colotepec (rivermouth beachbreak)
Some of the time the combination of wind and swell is far from ideal!

La Punta (Brisas de Zicatela) 10 min by car, or 30 min walking on the beach

Getting Here
- By bus from Mexico City (12-15hrs) Take an ADO or ETN bus from Mexico City.
- By airplane: Arrive at Puerto Escondido’s international airport from Mexico City, Queretaro or Oaxaca. The airport is near downtown Puerto Escondido

Our surf guiding package is designed for those who know how to surf but prefer a local guide who finds every day the best spots, finding epics uncrowded surf during all the stay.
