The reservation paid to Nomad Surfers is non refundable under any circumstance.
By making a reservation through Nomad Surfers for an accommodation provider, you accept and agree to their relevant payment terms for the outstanding balance, cancellation and no-show policy of that particular accommodation provider.
The participants yield the image rights of the pictures/videos taken while attending the camps, independently anywhere in the world, and expressly authorises Nomad Surfers to its diffusion and reproduction.
Payment for reservation deposit is made by credit cards through Stripe will be charged in the local currency equivalent based on the daily exchange rate. Fees and currency conversions by Stripe, banks or credit card companies in processing payments are not within the control of Nomad Surfers and are subject to exchange rate fluctuation.

Supervision
Our staff will supervise the teens during extra activities, at the surf school area and surf camp area. As soon as the teens leave the accommodation or the area of the activities without permission, it is no longer our responsibility.
Excursion
At some point in all excursions, children are given “free time” for shopping for souvenirs, having a snack, etc., in a designated area. During this time, not all children are with the staff. The following explains our supervision policy on excursions:
Always be in groups of a minimum of three children.
All children will be given emergency phone numbers.
Meeting points and times will be established and shown to the children.
The maximum amount of time between meetings will be 90 minutes.
If you prefer that he/she be accompanied by a monitor at all times during excursions, please indicate this preference in writing to us before the start of the Camp. If we do not receive your written instructions to the contrary, we will assume you agree with the above supervision policy.
Smoking and drinking alcohol
Your children are not allowed to smoke or drink alcohol at any time. This policy is reiterated very clearly to all teens on the first evening of camp. This policy applies to all children at camp, whether or not they are allowed to smoke or drink at home, and whether or not they are legally old enough to smoke or drink in the country of the camp. Should your child smoke or drink alcohol at camp, the camp monitor will contact you immediately to discuss what action he or she feels is appropriate in the specific circumstances.
The Camp monitor may feel that a strong warning is more appropriate, on the understanding that a second violation of the rule will result in your child being sent home, at your expense, and there will be no refund. In this case, the camp monitor will look for your support and ask that you explain the situation very clearly to your child by telephone in order that there is no misunderstanding. It is very important that you discuss this policy with your child before he or she travels to camp, in order that he/she fully understands the implications of smoking or drinking alcohol at camp.
Possession or use of illegal drugs
Should your child possess or use any drugs at the Camp, other than those prescribed for medical reasons, he/she will be sent home immediately at your expense, and no refund. We reserve the right to also notify the police given the seriousness of this matter.
Damage to property
It is important that children treat the property of the Camp and its suppliers with the greatest of care and respect. Any damages resulting from negligence, even if accidental, will be invoiced to the parents or guardians, who, as part of the booking conditions, agree to this stipulation. Where individual guilt cannot be accurately assessed, damages will be shared amongst those involved and families invoiced accordingly. If they lose the room key, they have to pay 10 € for a new one.
In case of vandalism, bad behaviour (not respect rules/ not respect other kids or teachers, etc.) the kids will be expelled from the camp next day without the refund for the rest of stay/ and pay the cost of broken property.
Insurance
All surf schools have accident insurance required by law in all countries. If anyone gets hurt while surfing they will be taken to hospital and will be treated. This is not a travel insurance so we do recommend travel insurance if travelling to another country.

Operation
a) In 2020, the guests can have free of charge access to groups sessions of: Yoga, Yoga Kids, Stretching, Liquid Balance, Skate, Functional Training and Trekking, as well as bikes and skate gear, according to the Sport Activities’ General Conditions & Policies.
b) The participation in the sport activities mentioned above requires the reading and the acceptance of the Sport Activities’ General Conditions & Policies, and it is subject to availability (schedule, maximum number of participants per session and also, a maximum of two lessons per day, per person). Noah Surf House does not assure full and unlimited availability of the equipment and sessions to all the guests during their stay.
c) Any private session of any sport activity available or group sessions of Surf and SUP, Surf Family, Surf & SUP Tours, visit a Shaper’s Workshop, and surfboard and wetsuits rentals, require the consultation of the rates in force and payment.
d) For non-guests, there are no free of charge access to any sport activity, i. e, all the rates in force are applicable. It is also compulsory the reading and the acceptance of the Sport Activities’ General Conditions & Policies, and it is also subject to availability (schedule and maximum number of participants per session).
Bookings, appointments and cancellations
a) Sport activities – group or private sessions – can be purchased according to the rates in force, excluding the free access activities for Noah’s guests.
b) In case of packages with accommodation and sport activities included, cancellation policy for individual bookings is applicable. Therefore, the reservation can be cancelled/changed 14 days prior to the arrival, without additional charges. Any cancellation/change, made within 14 days prior to the arrival, implies the charge of half of the package rate as a cancellation fee. In case of no-show or early departure, the full amount of the package will be charged. We will pre-authorize the provided credit card as reservation guarantee.
c) Surf lessons’ packages require full payment regardless the its total usufruct.
d) Activities may occur between 7am and 8pm. Land activities (Body&Mind, Skate, Functional Training, Trekking and Visit a Shaper’s Workshop) follow a monthly calendar. Ocean activities (Surf&SUP e Surf&SUP Tours) follow a weekly or daily calendar (subject to changes).
e) The appointment of free access activities for Noah’s guests is subject to availability, according to the schedule in force during the stay.
f) Under all circumstances, Sport Activities’ appointments and cancellation respect the following timings:
Surf, SUP, Skate and Trekking Sessions and extras: up to 24h before the activities practice;
Body & Mind Sessions, Functional Training and Visit a Shaper’s Workshop: until 6pm of the day prior to the activities practice;
Surf & SUP Tours: up to 48h prior to the activities practice.
g) Yoga and Functional Training Studios excel for personalized customer support, hence, there is no free access. It is required to schedule one or more sessions, subject to availability.
h) In case of payed activities, if the guest does not attend or cancels the sessions after the stipulated timing, Noah Surf House has the right to charge the activity and it won’t be possible to reschedule it again as booking/buying a new one will be needed. Same applies for activities included in packages with accommodation. In case of free access activities for guests, if a guest does not attend or cancels the sessions after the stipulated timing, Noah Surf House has the right to deny the participation to a guest after two absences in a row.
i) Noah Surf House has the right to decide if weather conditions are suitable for the practice of activities, as well as to finish or interrupt activities at any given moment, without refunding the corresponding value.
j) Weather conditions: if there are no conditions for outdoor activities, Noah Surf House will be obliged to cancel it. Therefore, such activities should be rescheduled as soon as possible or reconverted in other activities with the same value. In this case, non-refund will be applied. If the guest does not have the chance to reschedule activities during the stay, a voucher will be given with the same value, valid for 12 months, to be used in a next stay.
k) The appointment of ocean activities is limited to one session per day, per level.
l) A minimum number of participants is required for two Sport Activities’ sessions to happen:
Family Surf Sessions // 3 people per session;
Trekking // 4 people per session.
m) If the minimum number of participants is not reached, Noah Surf House has the right to cancel the session and the obligation to inform the enrolled guests as soon as possible.
n) Age Policy: activities appointments and participation for children under 8 years old are subject to previous consultation and depend on the activities requirements.
o) In loco activities appointments should be organized at Noah’s Sports Centre desk, open every day.
p) In case of unforeseen situations, Noah Surf House has the right to cancel any appointment and as well as the obligation to refund the guest.
Insurance
a) Activities facilitated by a coach, the material, insurance and VAT are included.
b) Insurances against personal accidents and towards liability are guaranteed to each guest participating in sport activities’ sessions. These insurances cover guest’s injuries during the practice of activities and of any other person involved and hurt during those sessions, if the guest respects the terms of this document and coaches’ guidelines.
c) For personal accidents insurance, guests must declare not to have any medical conditions that may thwart or generate injuries during activities sessions.
d) If the guest declares to suffer of any medical condition which may thwart or generate injuries during sport activities’ practice, Noah Surf House has the right to deny the guest participation.
e) Insurances mentioned above will not cover any situation of injuries arising from physical inabilities not declared by the guest.
f) Noah Surf House will guarantee that all the equipment provided is in good conditions. The guest is responsible for the provided equipment and must return it in the same conditions as received. In case of damage or loss, the equipment value will be charged to the guest.
g) During the sessions of any activity, the guest must comply with all coaches’ instructions and should not disturb other members or interfere with the ability of the coach to conduct the class safely and securely.
h) Noah Surf House has the right to exclude any guest that does not follow the terms and conditions, without refund.
i) No guest will have permission to participate in sports activities’ sessions under the influence of alcohol or other addictive substances. In this case, Noah Surf House has the right to exclude any guest from the sessions, without reimbursement.
j) Noah Surf House is by law excluded from any liability to the guest and is not responsible for any loss, damage or injury caused within the practice of the activities during the stay at this property.
Specifications – Surf & SUP
a) All the activities related to the Ocean require payment.
b) The guest must recognize that inherent hazards may exist, both apparent and hidden, associated to Surf and SUP. The participation in Surf and SUP classes may involve injuries. No reimburse will be given in case of accident or other injury during these activities beyond the ones already included in the insurances mentioned above.
c) Noah Surf House has the exclusive right to decide if the beach, weather and ocean (or other factors) conditions may be unsafe to practice any Surf and SUP classes and has the right to finish them at any time, without reimbursement.
d) If the guest uses its own Surf gear, it must be kept in the guest’s room – all types of accommodation have a specific location for storing material. There are no insurances for private equipment.
Equipment Rentals & Usage
a) Noah Surf House owns bikes, skateboards and protections, that can be used by the guests, subject to availability. However, Noah Surf House does not assure full availability for all the guests.
b) Noah Surf House also has surfboards and wetsuits to rent. However, it can only be rentable by advanced surfers.
c) Equipment for rental does not include insurance. Upon rental of material, the guest becomes responsible for it. In case of damage or loss, repair or replacement of material, it will be charged to the guest.
d) For any rent, the guest must sign a term of responsibility and is obliged to pay for any personal accident or damages against others.
e) Guests must always use the equipment considering its purpose and are responsible for keeping its safety and conservation.
f) The guest must return the rented equipment as soon as the rental period expires.
g) If the guest returns the equipment after the rental expiration period, an extra use fee will be charged.
h) If the guest returns the equipment before the rental expiration period, a reimbursement will not be given.
i) The non-return of rented equipment will be notified and shall be subject to a criminal claim for theft against the practice of civil liability of the contract between the parties.
j) In case of theft, the guest must immediately present a criminal claim and is responsible for the payment of the equipment value.
k) Noah Surf House has the right to decline rentals to any guest under the influence of alcohol or other addictive substances.
l) Noah Surf House has the right to decline the rental of Surf and SUP material to any guest with a beginner or intermediate levels, to ensure its own safety, such as the safety of passers-by, other surfers and sunbathers.
m) The guest is responsible for his/her own insurance to cover personal and third-party accidents that may occur during the use of the rented equipment. Therefore, all the responsibility relies on the guest.
n) For cases not covered by these rules, the current Portuguese law is applicable.
Others
a) The reservation/appointment of any sport activity session requires the reading and the acceptance of the Sport Activities’ General Conditions & Policies.
b) All the conditions above are available at Noah’s Sport Centre desk at Noah Surf House.
