Surf
Enjoy the best waves that Porto have to offer you. With Porto Surf Experience Package you will have 2h of surf lessons each session! You will still have time to visit all that Porto can offer, after a refreshing Surf Class.
SURF LESSONS
Surfers of all levels are welcome! Porto Surf Club is for everyone, from seasoned pros looking to improve their speed and control to newbies just hoping to stand up for the first time. We offer Surf lessons Packages. Our instructors are experienced surfers who will help you get the most from your surf experience. Lessons include personalized instruction, equipment, and access to local surf meccas.
Beginners
If you have never surfed before the beaches of Porto are the place to be.
Intermediates
Intermediates can also have fun on the beach breaks of Matosinhos and more to the south to Espinho
and Esmoriz.
Experienced surfers
For experienced surfers, Matosinhos is also the place, between march and october is a
privileged destination.
While port and wine tours are the name of the game in Porto, there’s lots activities to keep you busy. Head along the coast for some surfing, step back in time at a palacio, or get inspired by some seriously cool modern art.

LOCATION & GETTING HERE
Location
Porto Surf Club located at the center of the city, steps away from restaurants, cafés, beautiful and quirky houses, and at walking distance from most of the city’s points of interest. Enjoy our Porto Surf Club in the heart of all the action!
Matosinhos is the nearest and best surf option for Surfers in this área, about 30km south we can find Espinho, also a surf/bodyboard spot.
Getting Here
By bus
There are hourly trains that reach Porto from Lisbon, Braga and Coimbra. If you’re arriving from within Portugal, the closest metro station is the Trinidade Metro Station. Take the metro from Campanha to Trinidade Metro Station and then walk 10 minutes to Porto Surf Club. Sao Bento train station is a 15 minute walk to our front door. If arriving from the airport or Campanha train station, be sure to get a 2-zone ticket.
From the airport
The closest airport is Francisco Sa Carneiro Airport, which is 15km from the Porto city center.

We provide surf lessons for those who want to learn how to step on to the water and surfers that want to improve having more speed and control in the green waves. Also for advanced surfers who want to go one step further in their technique and style. Professional and experienced surf teachers will coach you. They will get you to that next level and help you get the most from your surfing. We use the latest and most advanced equipment to provide the best feeling ever, all the lessons include surfboard and all equipment needed.
