During this trip, your surfing lessons in Oahu will be at Puaena Point in Haleiwa on the North Shore, or at Diamond Head on the South Shore, depending on the conditions. With our excellent variety of waves and surfboards, you’ll improve your surf style and technique.

In addition, yoga and meditation are available at your convenience. Yoga is perfect for surfers, as it builds core strength, balance and flexibility (all key elements for better surfing). We want you to improve your life and surfing technique, and this trip offers the chance to do that by combining surfing and yoga.

Surf in Haleiwa is suitable for anyone who loves the ocean, even if you have never surfed before. If you have surfing experience but want to improve your technique and style; if you want to learn how to read the ocean to catch more good waves; if you like the simple surfing lifestyle; and if you like outdoor adventures and beautiful landscapes, then this is the surf camp you’ve been looking for.

It’s essential that you know how to swim. You don’t need to be the best swimmer around, but you definitely should be able to keep yourself afloat. The surfing groups will be divided based on your level.

THE ACCOMMODATION

You’ll stay in high-class Oahu accommodations, with a private beach house or in the garden of a little farm on either the north or east side of the island. We change locations monthly. We choose the best locations in Hawaii for you to experience different parts of the island and have different experiences and adventures.

The comfortable beach house and the camp at the farm both have everything you need to ensure you get the most out of your stay in Hawaii. Both accommodations are equipped with a full kitchen for you to use, free Wi-Fi, and all the typical bathroom equipment.

Breakfast and lunch are included. We care about your nutrition, so every meal is colorful, nutritious, delicious, and packed with superfoods. There are options for everyone, whether you are vegetarian or pescatarian, or have particular needs or food intolerances.

THE ACTIVITIES

Hawaiian waves range from 2 to 60 ft, or 0.6 to 18 mt. With the variety of waves from every possible angle, it is almost impossible to miss out on fun-size waves. The weather on Oahu is tropical, with temperatures fluctuating between 20-30 degrees Celsius.

In addition to surf lessons on Oahu, there are endless other activities to enjoy, many of which require local knowledge. We will make sure you do not miss these remarkable activities by taking you to all sides of the island with professional tour guides. This gives you the opportunity to experience real Hawaiian life and enjoy craters, lookouts, secret beaches, traditional towns, hikes, marine wildlife, and more.

You will travel south, east, and north, with our team showing you all the best spots and telling you mythical Hawaiian legends. We often explore beautiful macadamia nut farms, and you will have the option to jump off of a cliff if the conditions are good and finally. You will also have the experience of a lifetime snorkeling with Hawaiian sea turtles

The “west side quest” involves going to the west side of the island very early to search for dolphins, then chilling at the majestic beach of Yokohama Bay. There you will have a break and snack, then hike the lighthouse at Kaena point, which is on the northwest side of the island. If you are lucky, you will spot some humpback whales and monk seals.

LOCATION & GETTING HERE

Location

Our Oahu accommodations are located walking distance from the beach, either on the north or east of the island. Oahu is known as the “gathering place,” and the island is the third largest in the Hawaiian chain. This island is a melting pot of diverse ethnicities, evident in the island’s culinary traditions, entertainment, art, and even languages.

You will learn to ride waves where the sport of surfing was born. Surfing is a way of life in Oahu, and there are over 100 named surf spots surrounding the island. The island waters are crystal clear, so they are perfect for snorkeling nearly all the time.

Surfers of all levels and from all around the world speak of Hawaii as “the proving grounds.” No matter which side of the island you are on, there are waves all year round. The surf in Oahu can range from 2 feet to 8 feet (0.6 to 2.4 m) on the south coast and from 2 feet to 60 feet (0.6 to 18m) on the North Shore. We will take you to spots where you can surf small and fun waves. But just 50 meters further out the waves are head-high and faster, so they are great for intermediate surfers.

The South Shore is the more touristy side, but if you know where to go, you can find great places like Kapiolani Park and Diamond Head. The North Shore is famous for good waves and epic snorkeling, and the east side is the greenest side and contains many great legends. Last but not least, the west side of Oahu is the driest but has the most beautiful beaches. You will experience all of these and more!

Getting Here

Book your flight to arrive at Honolulu International Airport (HNL). The transfer from and to the airport is included.

We will pick you up from the airport if you arrive and leave on the dates planned in our surf trips.
