Nomad Surfers Terms & Conditions

 The reservation paid to Nomad Surfers is non refundable under any circumstance.

 

By making a reservation through Nomad Surfers for an accommodation provider, you accept and agree to their relevant payment terms for the outstanding balance, cancellation and no-show policy of that particular accommodation provider.

 

The participants yield the image rights of the pictures/videos taken while attending the camps, independently anywhere in the world, and expressly authorises Nomad Surfers to its diffusion and reproduction.

 

Payment for reservation deposit is made by credit cards through Stripe will be charged in the local currency equivalent based on the daily exchange rate. Fees and currency conversions by Stripe, banks or credit card companies in processing payments are not within the control of Nomad Surfers and are subject to exchange rate fluctuation.

 

 

 

Terms and Conditions exclusive to Junior Nomad Surf Camps for Teenagers organised by Nomad Surfers

 

Supervision

Our staff will supervise the teens during extra activities, at the surf school area and surf camp area. As soon as the teens leave the accommodation or the area of the activities without permission, it is no longer our responsibility.

 

Excursion

At some point in all excursions, children are given “free time” for shopping for souvenirs, having a snack, etc., in a designated area. During this time, not all children are with the staff. The following explains our supervision policy on excursions:

 

Always be in groups of a minimum of three children.

All children will be given emergency phone numbers.

Meeting points and times will be established and shown to the children.

The maximum amount of time between meetings will be 90 minutes.

 

If you prefer that he/she be accompanied by a monitor at all times during excursions, please indicate this preference in writing to us before the start of the Camp. If we do not receive your written instructions to the contrary, we will assume you agree with the above supervision policy.

 

Smoking and drinking alcohol

Your children are not allowed to smoke or drink alcohol at any time. This policy is reiterated very clearly to all teens on the first evening of camp. This policy applies to all children at camp, whether or not they are allowed to smoke or drink at home, and whether or not they are legally old enough to smoke or drink in the country of the camp. Should your child smoke or drink alcohol at camp, the camp monitor will contact you immediately to discuss what action he or she feels is appropriate in the specific circumstances.

 

The Camp monitor may feel that a strong warning is more appropriate, on the understanding that a second violation of the rule will result in your child being sent home, at your expense, and there will be no refund. In this case, the camp monitor will look for your support and ask that you explain the situation very clearly to your child by telephone in order that there is no misunderstanding. It is very important that you discuss this policy with your child before he or she travels to camp, in order that he/she fully understands the implications of smoking or drinking alcohol at camp.

 

Possession or use of illegal drugs

Should your child possess or use any drugs at the Camp, other than those prescribed for medical reasons, he/she will be sent home immediately at your expense, and no refund. We reserve the right to also notify the police given the seriousness of this matter.

 

Damage to property

It is important that children treat the property of the Camp and its suppliers with the greatest of care and respect. Any damages resulting from negligence, even if accidental, will be invoiced to the parents or guardians, who, as part of the booking conditions, agree to this stipulation. Where individual guilt cannot be accurately assessed, damages will be shared amongst those involved and families invoiced accordingly. If they lose the room key, they have to pay 10 € for a new one.

 

In case of vandalism, bad behaviour (not respect rules/ not respect other kids or teachers, etc.) the kids will be expelled from the camp next day without the refund for the rest of stay/ and pay the cost of broken property.

 

Insurance

All surf schools have accident insurance required by law in all countries. If anyone gets hurt while surfing they will be taken to hospital and will be treated. This is not a travel insurance so we do recommend travel insurance if travelling to another country.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. The person (“the Customer”) whose name and other particulars appears below hereby confirm that will participate in a conducted activity by the hostel on the dates shown below (in this document that person is described as “the Customer”). The customer declares that has read and agrees without exception all the Terms & Conditions
  1. Surf School Policy
  1. The Customer acknowledges that there are inherent dangers both apparent and hidden associated with surfing. The Customer’s participation in the surf lessons and other associated activities may involve injury. No refund will be made in case of accident or other injury during the stay.
  2. The Customer acknowledges and agrees that the Hostel has no control in respect of weather and ocean conditions.
  3. If the weather/ocean conditions do not allow us to give two lessons per day the lessons will be rescheduled to another day.
  4. If The hostel is not able to provide you all your prepaid lessons during your stay due to lack of weather/ocean conditions, The hostel do not refund the value of the surf lessons that were not provided.
  5. In this case the hostel is able to offer other services in the hostel for the same value.
  6. The hostel reserves the exclusive right to decide if beach, weather and ocean conditions (or other factors) make the surf lesson unsafe and have the right to terminate the lesson at any time without refund.
  7. When The hostel supplies equipment to any Customer for the surf lesson the hostel guarantee that the equipment is in good condition.
  8. The Customer is responsible for the equipment provided by The hostel and should deliver the equipment in the same conditions.
  9. The customer will be charged in case of damaged.
  10. During the surf lesson the Customer must obey all directions and instructions from the surf instructor and must not disturb other participants or interfere with the surf instructor’s ability to conduct the surf lesson in a safe and secure manner.
  11. The hostel reserves the right to remove any Customer from the surf lesson who does not comply with these terms, without refund.
  12. If you travel with your own surf equipment, it should be stored in the surf school.
  13. Dripping wetsuits and boards are only allowed in the surf school area.
  14. No wetsuits are allowed to be hanging on the room’s balcony.
  15. No Customer will be permitted to participate in a surf lesson at any time if the surf instructor suspects the Customer under any influence of alcohol or drugs. The hostel has the right to exclude the Customer from the surf lesson without refund.
  16. The Customer hereby declares that the Customer does not suffer from any medical condition which may prevent the Customer undertaking surf lessons and other activities.
  17. Each Customer participates in The hostel activities at his or her own risk.
  18. The hostel is by law excluded from any liability to the Customer and is not responsible for any loss, damage or injury caused during the stay at The hostel
  1. Booking Policy
  1. The hostel reserves the right to cancel any reservation in which case a full refund will be made.
  2. Cancellation requested within 15 days prior to the check-in date, the deposit will not be refunded. Any changes of the reservation are always subject to confirmation and availability. 20% deposit of the total reservation value is requested for booking confirmation. The remaining total payment must be settled at the check in date.
  3. All year long our shared rooms are sold per bed. The customer may pay the single occupancy price for one bed but the customer must be prepared to share the room with another person for this price. If the customer would like to stay alone in a room the customer must pay the price for all the beds.
  4. All prices/ transactions are in € (Euros).
  5. If the Customer would like to pay all extra consumption at check out the Customer has to leave the credit card details in the reception. All receipts related with extra consumptions charged to the room account has to be signed by the Customer.
  6. All personal information including name, contact number & email address is used only for The hostel and will not be disclosed outside of The hostel

  2. Check-in after 16h
  3. Check- out until 12h
  4. Please bring your mini bar list to the reception when checking out.
  5. Late check-out (subject to availability):
    1. Up to 3 hours: 25% of the room charge
    2. Up to 6 hours: 50 % of the room charge
    3. More than 6 hours: 100 % of the room charge
  6. Daily cleaning until 13h
  7. Breakfast is served between 7h30 – 10h
  8. Lunch is served between 12h – 15h
  9. Dinner is served between 18h – 22h30
  10. If the Customer would like a table for dinner we advice to make a reservation in the reception or at the restaurant no later than 15h
  11. No Customer is permitted to bring any drugs to The hostel
  12. No Customer is permitted to bring any alcoholic beverages to consume at The hostel
  13. Smoking inside the rooms or in any other areas inside The hostel is prohibited.
  14. The mini bar will be checked daily and replenished.
  15. Each Customer is responsible and liable for safekeeping of all their belongings. The hostel has no responsibility for any loss or damage to the Customers personal belongings.
  16. A safe is provided in the reception to store valuables.
  17. Animals are not allowed in The hostel rooms or common areas.
  1. Rentals Policy
  1. The hostel provides bicycles, child’s scooter, skateboards, surfboards, bodyboards, paddleboards, snorkling gear, beach tennis sets and wetsuits for rent when the equipment is available.
  2. For bicycles, child’s scooters and skateboards a 100€ deposit will be requested if the Customer did not leave their credit card details in the reception at check-in.
  3. For surfboards, paddleboards and bodyboards a 100 € deposit will be requested if the Customer did not leave their credit card details in the reception at check-in.
  4. For wetsuits a 50 € deposit will be requested if the Customer did not leave their credit card details in the reception at check-in.
  5. For snorkling gear and beach tennis sets a 25 € deposit will be requested if the Customer did not leave their credit card details in the reception at check-in.
  6. At the time of rental the Customer will have to sign a term of responsibility.
  7. The Customer should always use the material for its purpose and maintain its good conservation and safety of the same.
  8. If by any chance the Customer damage the equipment the Customer must notify the hostel immediately and will be responsible for the damage made. The Customer will be charged the value of the damage.
  9. The customer should deliver the rented equipment as soon as the time period of rental is expired.
  10. If the Customer deliver the rented equipment after the time period of rental is expired it will be charged an extra fee.
  11. If the Customer delivers the rented equipment before the rental time period is expired no refund will be made.
  12. Failure to return rented equipment will be the subject of criminal complaint for theft against the practice of civil responsibility of the contract between the parties.
  13. In case of theft the Customer shall submit a criminal complaint immediately and is responsible for the payment of its value.
  14. The hostel reserves the right to refuse rental to Customers who is under the influence of alcohol or any another substances.
  15. The Customer is responsible to have his/her own insurance covering personal accident which can occur during use of rented equipment from RIDE leaving the full responsibility to the client.
  16. For cases not covered by these rules, the parties shall be governed by applicable law.

 

Travel Insurance

Travel Insurance is highly recommended to attend any of our camps or surf charters. You can use any travel insurance you wish although we recommend you to buy it with World Nomads Travel Insurance. Cancelation Insurance: This benefit provides compensation for the amount that the insured has paid for their trip in case of cancelation due to accident, illness, or death of a family member (up to the policy limit). The insurance covers your airplane tickets and the accommodation booked. Please refer to the link above for more information.

Payment Information
