Surfing in Washington
Washington State is located on the west coast of the USA (don’t mix it up with Washington D.C.) and has one of the longest shorelines in the country. There are many surf spots scattered along the coast of Washington but access can be a problem since property laws privatized many beaches. Many surfers still push through private property to reach their favorite surf breaks but this created a bad reputation among the local population. Having said that there are still accessible surf spots like Westport and Grenville but surf conditions can be fickle.
