Surfing in Northwest Australia

The Western state of Australia is the largest and also the least populated in the country. To travel around this remote coast requires a lot of planning and definitely a 4x4 car. The good side is that most spots are uncrowded and many perfect left hander point breaks can be discovered with not a single soul for miles. The area is known for having a diversified wildlife and breathtaking landscapes. The ocean is no different and any species of fish, whales, turtles and sharks populate the reefs so get used to sharing the waves with a large variety of animals.
