Surfing in Lombok

Lombok is a beautiful island located just east of Bali and is one of the most famous tourist destinations in the country. The south coast of the island has some amazing surf spots that can rival with any other island of the archipelago. Besides that Lombok has stunning waterfalls and is home to Mount Rinjani, the second largest volcano in the country that is famous for it’s huge crater that contains a wide lake inside. Lombok has waves all year round but the best time to surf in the island is during the dry season when the swells are more consistent.

The best surf spots are Desert Point, Mawi, Are Guling, Ekas Bay, Gerupuk, Seger Reef, Senggigi and Sereweh.
