Surfing in Central Israel and Tel Aviv

Tel Aviv and the central coast is where surfing started in Israel. The waves may not be extremely big or consistent but that didn’t stop a strong and enthusiastic surf community to be born. The best time of the year to surf in this area is during the winter time from November to April when the wave size is bigger and the swells more consistent. The good news is that no matter how the surf is there are always plenty of other cultural activities to do while waiting for the swell to build up.
