Praia do Arpoador

Arpoador Beach is the birthplace of surfing in Rio de Janeiro. The beach has a beautiful rock formation on the left corner that produces long peeling left handers ideal for all levels of surfing. The ideal conditions are SE swells, wind from NE and mid to high tide. The point break is usually frequented by longboarders, shorboarders, SUP, bodyboarders and bodysurfers. It's crowded but it’s a really good wave.
