Pontal (Itacaré)

Pontal is a surf spot located in the charming city of Itacaré. This surf spot works better during the winter time when the S swells and winds are predominant. The waves break on the outside sandbars forming fun mellow walls ideal for intermediates. When the waves reach the inside they became more hollow and fast. This surf spot is not recommended for beginners since there are strong currents and no evident channel to the outside.
