Pangandaran
Pangandaran Beach is a long sandy beach facing S-SW that has lots of consistent beach breaks. Pangandaram Beach reminds a lot like Kuta Beach with a long stretch of sand with many peaks scattered along the coast. Since it captures a lot of swell this surf spot can only handle 3-4 ft before it starts to max out. At western end of the beach, close to the airstrip, the river helps to form sand banks that work well on the first hours of the day, before the SE trade wind kicks in and ruins the waves. Pangandaran Beach has sheltered and exposed places and the waves are suitable for all levels according to the peak you choose to surf.
