Meñakoz

Meñakoz is a big-wave venue located in Sopelana and Barrika. This powerful wave can handle massive swells and is considered as one of the most dangerous waves in Europe. This surf spot only start working with 12ft waves and the assistance of jet skies are not allowed. Be careful with exposed rocks, strong currents and phantom sets. Meñakoz has the perfect set up to sit on top of the cliff and watch the crazy surfers charging on massive waves.
