Mawi

Mawi is a very good surf spot located at the south coast of Lombok. This break is very consistent and works better during the dry season and with any swell size. The waves break in a picturesque set up in a bay perfectly positioned to enjoy magical sunsets. Mawi offers good protection from strong SE swell and its a good option when other breaks are blown out. Its very fun with small swells but the right hander maxes out at 5-6ft. The left hander holds 10ft plus and is the main attraction of the bay. With challenging take offs and hollow barrel sections this wave is only recommended for bold intermediates and advanced surfers. Be careful with the razor sharp reef and strong currents.
