The surf camp is situated on Himmafushi Island, only 17 km away from the capital Male. Just 10 minutes walking from on of the best surf spot of North Male Atolls, better known as Jail breaks!
Many of our clients combine their surf trip vacation with snorkeling, diving, fishing and local visit tours, taking advantage of our surf packages! After a full day surfing or doing other activities, you can relax and enjoy one of the therapeutic massages we offer.
Instead of being isolated in the closed resort-islands here you can find untouched nature and see the real life of the local people, experience their fascinating culture. Maldives has some of the best waves in the world. Surf in Maldives is famous for its warm water temperatures all year round, perfect barrels and long funny waves with amazing surrounding scenarios. No doubt the Maldives are the ideal surf trip for intermediate and advanced surfers.
Our professional surf guides and photographers will make sure you catch the best waves and have professional pictures to bring back home. All famous breaks in the North Male Atoll area within close reach with our Dhoni boat and Jails is even just a short walk and quick paddle away!
For all the other breaks we will bring you directly to the line up with our Dhoni boat! Our surf packages includes 2 daily surf trips per day including the assistance of expert surf guides who will help you to choose the best spot of the day between:
JAILS
Also called Jailbreaks is the famous right-hander break right in front of Himmafushi Island. The spot is only 10 minutes walking from your accommodation.
CHICKENS
Left hander – 40” by Dhoni boat A long perfect left! When it’s big, the inside section is heavy barrel that is make or break.
COKES
Righ hander – 40” by Dhoni boat A shallow and powerful right which works with S-S/SW groundswell. Here you can have the biggest barrells in Maldives.. only for experienced surfers!
NINJAS
Right hander – 25” by Dhoni boat Perfect for intermediate surfers, this wave is very good also for long boarders. Very know to be the most friendly wave in North Male Atoll.
SULTANS
Right hander – 10” by Dhoni boat One of the more consistent and fun wave of Nort Male Atoll, very mellow with some barrel sections.
HONKEY'S
Left hander – 10” by Dhoni boat You cannot miss this wave on good day conditions! One of the best left waves of Maldives breaking close to Sultans.

LOCATION & GETTING HERE
Location
Himmafushi Island
Himmafushi, Located 17 km north of the capital Male just about 45 min by ferry. It is a typical fishing island with only about 750 inhabitants. The island is so small that you can walk around it in approx. 40min and watch the locals living their daily lifes – a unique experience.
Instead of being isolated in the closed resort-islands here you can find untouched nature and see the real life of the local people, experience their fascinating culture. The Maldives as they truly are. This is what makes this surfing trip special – not only surfing empty breaks and enjoying warm waters but also learning about new cultures and people.
There are several small shops and 2 restaurants on the island. Himmafushi has a medical center (small hospital) and a pharmacy for any emergency, in case of an emergency Male hospital is just 30 minutes away.

- Due to the Islamic culture any consumption of alcohol is strictly prohibited on Himmafushi. We are happy to organize trips to surrounding resorts for meals and/ or drinks at separate charges.
