Long Strand (Castlefreke)

Long Strand is an inconsistent beach break that works well with NE winds. This surf spot has nice sandbars at both corners of the beach and can be gnarly at low tide.

Works better with low tide S to W swell and NE wind. It’s usually onshore and is a close out shore break at high tide. Gets crowded during weekends.
