La Cúpula

La Cupula is a long left hander that is considered to be the best wave in the Antofagasta area. This surf spot is similar to Tavarua and hosts lots of national contests during the year. The wave breaks on top of a reef that produces multiple barrel sections. There is also a short right hander. Be careful with exposed rocks, sea urchins and seashells covering the seafloor. It works best with S to NW swells and NE winds.
