English & Surf Camp - Donegal, Bundoran. Ireland

INTRODUCTION

Set in a Georgian building overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, this program offers an engaging mix of English learning, surfing, and cultural discovery in a relaxed coastal setting. The course is designed for adults looking for an active and social experience, with 15 English classes per week using task-based teaching methods.

Alongside the classroom learning, participants enjoy surf sessions led by experienced local instructors in a safe and supportive environment. The combination of language learning, outdoor activity, and seaside living creates an immersive experience that is both dynamic and rewarding.

Hotel Accommodation

We work closely with a select number of high-quality local hotels, all within a short distance of the school.

Homestay

THE ACTIVITIES

The program combines 15 English classes with 4 surf coaching lessons and a small selection of social and cultural experiences. Surfing is taught by qualified local surfers, with a strong focus on progression, personal attention, and enjoying the sport in a fun and safe environment.

Surf lessons are organized in small groups, with a maximum student-to-instructor ratio of 1:8 for beginners, intermediate, and advanced levels. Students use a range of surfboards from beginner soft boards to intermediate boards, and the surf school provides 5/3mm wetsuits, 3mm boots, changing rooms, hot showers, and post-surf hot chocolate.

The program also includes social and cultural activities, such as Irish cooking experiences and excursions along the Wild Atlantic Way. These activities add a local cultural dimension to the stay and help students experience more of the region beyond the classroom and the beach.
